Palestinian Embroidery Workshop
Traditional hand embroidery is passed down from mother to daughter among Palestinian women. The motifs are diverse such as flowers, bird feathers, apples and grandfather’s teeth. People are fascinated with unique designs which are delicate and beautiful.
Would you like to experience such Palestinian embroidery?
Children as young as elementary school age can also participate, if they can use a needle and thread. While working with hands, the lecturer will talk about the past and present of Palestine, daily life, food, and the city.
Why don’t you come and spend a spring afternoon with us and feel the beauty and pride of Palestine?
